I have been using the product for quite a few months and often regularly.

Well it's really nice of the Owner to promise to deliver a free mesh filter every year ! Nice Gesture and a commitment towards the customer.

Now let's talk about the product, its simple practical and easy to use. The only thing I can think of is to use spring that is little heavier/thicker and little thicker mesh filter. Although mesh filter is replaceable , but it start to loose shape overtime, this is my observation. The product overall is good filters 99% of grit, may leave very fine grit which is understandable, since the best French press does the same.
Recommendation to only clean with potable water and avoid hard water.
